I would hate to make any promises, BUT friends and family, get excited for the gourmet Italian meal headed your way in December. That's right, Miriam and I actually might soon know how to cook something. And not just anything, but full-on Italian goodness. Our experiences in the kitchen at this point have been a bit up and down to say the least ("uhh, Miriam, did you mean for the stove's flame to be this high?"), but we are definitely learning! (First lesson: refrigerate tomato sauce after you open it. No, those aren't mushrooms.) Usually, we blindly throw things together in our tiny nook of a kitchen. And, usually, USUALLY, this turns out all right, if not molto bene. The real fancy stuff, however, comes in the occasional cooking class. Feast your eyes on these pictures and just try to stop your Italian cravings.
